This resort is a great place to base yourself from as you explore a range of year-round outdoor activities. Spring, summer and fall are ideal for an exploration of nearby Pisgah National Forest. Pick a path and hike or ride horseback along a shaded forest canopy, or rent a kayak or raft and navigate a clear mountain stream or lake. Warmer months are also ideal for antiquing, festivals and gallery tours in Banner Elk.
Plan a fall visit and marvel at the brilliant autumn foliage on a comfortable car ride along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. When winter snows arrive, hit the slopes at Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain or Hawksnest ski areas to enjoy great skiing and snow tubing.

Mini golf construction will continue through May 31, 2020. During this time the area around the lake will be a construction zone with workers and equipment. Guests will be unable to access to the lake from the dock area and no pedal boats will be available. The playground is being removed with this project. In addition, the indoor pool and hot tub at Blue Ridge Village will be closed for unforeseen repair and maintenance from March 2nd to March 9th, 2020.
This resort is set in a rustic location, and due to the nature of the terrain, there are many stairs and steps on property. This includes entry into vacation units as well as on paths around the property. This resort does not have an elevator
Watauga County which includes Boone has canceled all festivals, concerts and other planned events until further notice due to the Corona virus. No gathering of more than 100 will be permitted. The restrictions will be reassessed mid-April.
